Welcome to Monkstown Village.com, a website for Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland.

Monkstown is situated on the coast between Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock in South County Dublin. (There's an outline map on our links page).

Getting here by DART is easy. Get off at "Salthill & Monkstown" station. Monkstown is also well served by Dublin Bus. If youre driving: get on the N11 heading towards Dun Laoghaire, go past Blackrock and it'll be off to your left. To find a local cab have a look at Dublin Cabs.com.

We are spoiled here for restaurants: Italian, Chinese, Thai, Steak... You have to visit! There are also a few splendid pubs here. But why take my word for it, come on. Hop on the DART. You'll be here in no time.

Other attractions in the vicinity are the reknowned Lambert Puppet Theatre (remember Wanderly Wagon, Judge, Mr. Crow, Foxy, Forty Coats, O'Brien ....), Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éíreann have their headquarters here - great music, you might even learn some Irish dancing. If you fancy a swim try the "Blue Pool".
